Casual Childcare Worker
Supporting families and children in their growth and self-discovery helps to create healthy families and a stronger community. Working as a casual child care worker for Family Service Saskatoon gives you the opportunity to work directly with children of all ages from different backgrounds and various cultures. In this position you would be providing a safe, fun and caring environment for children while their parents are participating in a program.
Weekend Supervised Visitation Worker
Children are placed in the care of foster parents for many different reasons. Although their family of origin may be going through difficult times, it is important for family members and children to maintain a relationship. As a weekend supervised visitation worker you will be a part of promoting healthy relationships between visitors and the children in care. This type of work requires both empathy and the understanding of the effect social issues have on families and children.
